November 18 What can I say now?
Seriously, don’t bother reading. It felt right at this very moment.
November 05 Not shocked. Just a little surprised.
Seriously guys, THANKS! My bunch of nice, insane friends were really sweet yesterday. =) We went out yesterday for after-exams celebrations. Well, sort of. Wangsa Walk for karaoke. And yes, it sucks big time. Red box is…better. WAY better. Had dinner at TGIF’S. It seemed like a normal dinner then when I thought we were going to get the bill or something, a cake walked pass us and turned out, its for us. So yeah. They celebrated me and Nikki’s birthday there. The whole stand-on-the-chair custom. Conclusion: AWESOME! Again, thanks!
October 23 Monuments and melodies
Incubus’ latest compilation is pretty not bad. Suddenly drive sounds so familiar. =) Seriously. Do check it out.
8 more doom days. And suddenly the week seem to pass really slowly. Dammit.
Btw dino, pool table! Remember! October 14 When food looked so creative
A short update. My slow moving achievements. Remember my previous goal? Well, none accomplished. No surprise there. Am still deciding whether to continue studying biology. Seriously. I don’t really care if enyzmes have low heat tolerance. And, who says the sixteenth birthday in a person’s life is sweet? Well, fancy sitting for BM papers trying to make Maimon proud on a wednesday? How coincidental. If you didn’t get that.. The first day of finals is the 21st which happens to be a wednesday. Maimon is the BM tution teacher and her classes are on wednesdays.
To the lame writers of that kiddy book who said: -My love for you is like diarrhea. I just can’t hold it in. Seriously, shoot yourself. October 12 Of attractions, distractions and studious people.
Chemistry for dummies. Get me that book. Or if it doesn’t exist, someone create it. I seriously don’t get the whole calculation part of chapter 7. Believe it or not, I spent 1 1/2 hours trying to do 10 OBJECTIVE questions. Someone, kill me. Heck I don’t know how people study for SPM and get all those A’s and I can’t even manage studying form 4 stuff.
Oh. Studying at home is a bad idea. Just when the attractions are my distractions. Yeah. I’m one of those people that feels sleepy when I see the bed.
Goal of the day: - salts - light
=) October 09 =o)
I’ve been really enjoying staring at blogs instead of blogging myself. At that, expect frequent long time intervals between my posts. The one week “ So this is what it feels like to not go to school for a week when other people have to! “ Yeah, now I understand why Karin likes to skip school so much..its really, really fun. I should try it more often. Now, 2 subjects done, 5 more to go. Any applause? Hell I don’t know how I’m gonna finish all those in a week and 2 days. Do you think its possible to finish 2 chapters of chemistry in a day? Goals of the day: - Don’t watch any shows/movie or whatnot. - Get off the computer - Finish that 2 chapters of chemistry - No afternoon - Wish me luck. September 12 My level of insanity. Rate it.
Its aWHILE isn't it? Really didn't realize that the last time I blogged was August 22nd. Tons of events happened in those 3 weeks and I'm slightly lazy to mention it. Not gonna write anything else. Currently am typing this to the rhythm of hammers knocking on my head. I have a headache if you didn't get it. Just finished typing a 6 page report for my trip to Cambodia. I really need some sleep.
=) August 22 The last post?
Yeah, before a 9 day break. I'll be off today at 3pm.
I probably expect a whole lot of weird stuff bout me going about..since yesterday...yeah.
=) August 16 MTV World Stage
What can I say? Somehow the videos are quite blur. Sound wise I mean. Too much sound? Get the videos from Keith and Elaine then. Or on facebook. I bet someone's bound to post them up. Yesterday was awesome. The day started off early and ended really late. We went at 9am (ahem...paranoid people) but it was worth it. Lol. The gates opened at 3.30pm and thanks to Kal, Keith and their whole gang, we were at the front of the line. Rushed in. And apparently Christopher can run..well at least faster than me. (its the bag I tell you! Weighed me down) Hmm..somehow I didn't get butt raped. Maybe its because the guy in front and behind me were butt raping people. =) Pity Keith. After Estranged, there was total chaos at the front of the Red Zone. Everyone was pushing and the front was really packed. Sardines in a can can't describe it. A whole lot of molestation went on. So, Karin went out first. Then me and Nikki followed. The line there sucks. Couldn't even contact anyone. We managed to find Karin after god knows how long. And at the end of the day, found everyone back. But....the performances!!! They were all really good. The All-American Rejects! Dude. 5 songs. Boys like girls we're really good too. Started off with some dude which I don't know and ended with Kasabian. I really do hate the mosh pit people. They got all the stuff thrown from the stage. Damn it.
Lots of hot people too. =) (ahemm..Utt)
So the day ended with Mcd and watching a whole car of people getting drunk on coke. How is that possible? Lol. Reached home at 1.45am. And I don't really remember what happened after I came back, but I woke up on the couch. Took me a few moments to realize that I slept on the couch with 17 hours of sweat and rain water. Yes! I came home and went straight to sleep. Didn't even make it upstairs. Saw the couch and died there.
An unforgettable day. I'll make myself not forget it.
=) August 03 The pride!July 24 Just when I came back alive..
One week seemed like one year. Feels really good to get life back after allowing books to dominate them. Yes, exam is over. I'm blogging in a happy mood! Somehow, I feel really happy after this particular exam. God knows why. The exams really did fry my brain. Now, I'm in this weird mood. English isn't my best language anymore. I misspelled misspell and throw twice! In one sentence some more. So, I'm back being me.,,an apparent pig fanatic. Am I? July 13 Now when the word ages really make sense.
How long has it been? A month? Does the term abandoned fit this web page? Oh well, suits. Reason for abandoning? R.O, two and a half men and R.O . June 16 finally? I've gotten hooked to restaurant city. But I still wonder why. Honestly, diner dash would be much better cuz it doesn't take up much time to complete a level. Although its really, really time consuming. And the deco stuff are really expensive. How much can I make serving pizzas and picking up trash? And the background music is REALLY annoying. But yet, I'm addicted. I'm at level 9. The level where toilet bowls come in handy. And I smile getting chicken...or bacon! =) Exam results are quite okay. Not bragging. But I didn't fail. So, yes. Another result of restaurant city. I hate the word initializing now. Nap time. =) June 06 =)
Me no update? Dang. I have really sensitive skin don't I? Just a couple of hours in the pool...and my skin is the same color of that of a cooked lobster. Maybe somehow you're having one of those dense moments, a cooked lobster is red.
If I didn't get this wrong, a LOT of words/terms sound wrong or whatnot. It doesn't. Just that somehow, SOMEHOW, Karin sexifies them. Let's say.. What do you think of this? Am I the only one who makes the word bang sound wrong? Anyway, I didn't write the words in the pic. See....the whole world uses the word bang and I'm the only soul who makes it seem wrong. June 01 untitled...for the umpteenth time.
Back from Mid valley. Cosmic bowl hates me. I offered to belanja Karin but she turned it down. Don't know if she's just being nice for today or you know...motives. Terminator:Salvation was a good movie. Worth watching.
I'm gonna go read The Host. See if I can finish it by wed.
off now. May 22 Sigh.
Weekends make me feel lazy. How I wish exams are over but no. 5 more days to go. Joy? Group studying can actually work if I wanted to. Don't listen to Serena. They made fun of me. * Serena and Karin! Do consider taking up a career in stalking people. Paparazzi perhaps?
Anyway,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!
May 19 As they always say . . .
Studying with the wrong motive. Yes, I'm doing it to get 2 hours off to watch the A.I this Thurs. With 2 papers of biology the next day.
Move away while I dig a hole and bury myself in there with the books. 3 subjects to study today. Or I'll fail for English, Chem and Bio. English! Lit!
* May 13 Exhausted but still going on.
Haven't been online in ages. Blame the pile of overdue work and physics. I would like to copy Karin's quote of physics but maybe not. For all you know, its copyrighted. Its highly impossible to study in school. Unless I drag my lazy ass off the chair to go sit in front with ducky. Sitting where I am, cards! Thee maine temptatione.
I feel weird now. I wanna catch some sleep but no. I have to stay up late with this "best friend" of mine. (If you get the quote, you'll get this). Now, ill just go hug the pillow. And probably fall asleep. May 07 Drama. Over reaction?
Finally got the time to browse thru camp pics. After 2 days the leaving the pendrive on the desk. Memories! Exam's on the 20th. Haven't started studying. Mum calls it digging my own grave. Quotes and whatnot.
Wait. Do I even make sense? Too much laughter makes me do high. Yes! Hannah can go high. Shocker? I'm gonna go back to finishing up history notes. My 3rd day doing it. Am I that slow?
Never expected this to come up. Right? Yes, I'm slow. My brain takes a few seconds to think. And Ainsley is impatient. That's why you have this picture.
=) May 04 The mission trip to Negri Sembilan
Spent labour day and the day after it in Negri Sembilan. We went to 7 Orang Asli settlements and I forgot all their names. They were quite weird though. If I translated them directly into English, it will sound really weird.
DAY 1 We gathered at Paul's house at 7am. Dad dropped me and mum off. Went to Semenyih first to meet up with the pastor who will act as our "tour guide". Had breakfast and off we went to our first village.
Our first village. The living conditions were quite bad though. And the smell. Moving on to the second village. I learnt a few things here though. 1) Chickens are really hard to catch. Chicks are worse. Its either they have camouflage or my eyes are failing me. 2) Never do obscene stuff in public. For if you do, high chances of you getting distracted and stucked. Yes, Yes! Its dog porn. I watched 2 dogs do IT and then get stucked. 3) City people are spoiled brats. Me included. Went for lunch then . At some food court. I didn't know suburban residents play computer games and use mobile phones. Line is scarce there so I wonder how they make/receive calls. Just as we arrived at our third village, my phone ran out of battery, so no pictures. Even after limiting 1/2 pictures per village, that damned phone still hates me. After everything, we went to Titi for dinner. We stayed in the church there. And guess what. That place was awesome. Proper sewage system, there's a stage with drums and stuff but we couldn't jam cuz then, we'll wake the neighbors. The church is in this neighborhood.
This class/room is awesome. It has an air cond too. All the youths slept here. Except Paul. Cuz he didn't want to and there was no space. Paul lost his sleeping bag so he slept in the main hall with the other adults on a cardboard. Poor guy.
DAY 2 This is the view from outside the church. Its really nice. Misty and cooling. Nice place to stay...when I retire. We went to a nearby coffee shop for breakfast. Your typical chinese kopitiam . Me and a few other people ordered toast. I didn't eat all of them. Only 2 slices. =) After breakfast, we headed back to the church to wait for the pastor. While waiting, we indulged in "stealing". Not really but who cares. The tree was abandoned I tell you! Along the road, there was this custard apple tree full of custard apples, so why not pluck a few? It looks like no one owned it. And very tempting. And then at the opposite house was this fruit tree..I don't know what fruit it is but its green. And sour. Mum wanted to pluck one but she accidentally plucked the whole bunch, so she was like shhhh... =) We plucked some custard apples too. We tried to copy the twilight book cover. Instead of using an apple. We used a custard apple. Close enough. =)
Then the pastor came and we left our "home". Darn...I wanted to use the baptism pool as the swimming pool. Too bad we didn't have enough time. Our fourth village. Look...they may be technology deprived, but they are very, very friendly and warm..unlike us city people and they definitely can pose. Hopping on to the fifth village.
We went for lunch at some "famous" shop in Titi. Famous for their terrapins. Yes! Cruelty. They eat terrapins. Disgusts me. I ordered duck rice. Don't wanna touch any of those. I have a pig at home. Paul kept annoying me cuz of the whole 3 bowls of rice thing but guess what. He ate 1 plate of pork rice and another plate of duck rice. Look whose the pig now.
Rushed off to the sixth village cuz we were like late.
Oh look. Its a bunch of civilized ducks. They walk in a straight line wherever they go. We don't do that...but ducks do. Anyway, this village was more well to do. They served us light refreshments before we left.
Then, on to our last village. Village number 7.
The pictures for this village is quite dark cuz it was like 7pm when I took the pics and their house has only one small lamp and my phone camera has no flash. This family went through some tragedy not long ago cuz their eldest son died in an accident cuz he was drunk. The family is quite screwed up la. Got lots of problems. So we had this mini counseling session for a short while before we left.
After we left, we went to Seremban Jaya for dinner. We took a few group pictures but I don't have it with me. I'll try to post it up next time if I get it. We headed back to KL after dinner. I reached home at about 11pm.
I was the guitarist during worship and my role in the puppet show was the pig. I'm fine with it though. We brought along a projector and the screen and some other technological stuff. All thanks to Kristen's dad. Seriously. What gadget does he not have? This mission trip taught me a lot of things. I wasn't very hyped up about this trip before it..but I have to admit. I did enjoy it. These kind of trips makes me appreciate all the things I have back at home. Looking at those Orang Asli people, they live in really poor conditions. Those houses that are considered 'nice' would actually fit the term "squatters" in town. Their toilets are mere holes or in the more richer families homes, their toilets are half the size of the cubicles in our school toilets. I can't imagine living in those conditions, so I better start valuing what I have now. Not much, but worth something.
That's all for my trip. Oh gosh. I spent 2 hours on this. Maimun's work! |
